james craig (10 out of 10 ) I saw this movie 1n 1944 when I was 12 years old and became a lifelong John Wayne fan. I doubt a year has gone by without my watching the movie ever since. Tall in the Saddle might have been a low budget western, but was as good as they come. The cast, the script and the photography were uniformly outstanding.
